A bording fabric expansion compensator consists of a gas-tight PTFE layer and an external finishing layer. Depending on the design and temperature, on the inside several layers (insulation material) are added. The different layers are so connected and finished that a stable and tight compensator arises. At higher temperatures, an extra draft insulation package will be installed.

Fabric expansion joints are customized and very flexible. The adjustment forces are negligible.
