In the paper industry, specific knowledge is required as to the application of valves, expansion joints and pipe supports. Processes within this industry are characterized by a continuous fight against wearing of components. The paper pulp which is processed in the pulper area containts rejects such as staples, bolts, nuts, cans and iron strips. Mass thickness grades of arround 4% are not rare during these processes. These characteristics and process conditions demand specific knowledge and experience and high-end components. Hanwel pocesses this valuable knowledge and expertise and offers a complete package of solutions, custom-made for every paper producer. Hanwel is your reliable partner, in every process stage.
Because they are developed specifically for processes within the paper industry, our Lohse knife gate valves are highly resistant to these extreme conditions. They are developed as such that they prevent reject flow to penetrate the sealing, housing and slide cups. The housing (standard delivered in Stainless Steel 3.16L), the special design of the inner slide cups and the advanced sealing systems all contribute to the fact that Lohse valves are highly capable in dealing with clews of staples, plastic particles and paper pulp. Besides this, Lohse valves can be altered and improved at several ways, enabling them to be adapted to specific process conditions and applications and maximizing their service life.
