Axial rubber expansion joints
An axial rubber expansion joints consists of a rubber bellow and flanges. The axial expansion joint has no limitation and therefore it can compensate an axial-, lateral and angular displacement. A combination of these movements is possible but has an effect on the compensation capacity.
Lateral rubber expansion joints
A lateral rubber expansion joint consists of a rubber bellow and flanges, equipped with lugs for tie-rods. The tie-rods connect both flanges preventing the expansion joint to elongate. Therefore a lateral expansion joint can only compensate a lateral movement.
Angular rubber expansion joints
An angular rubber expansion joint consists of a rubber bellow and flanges with a hinge construction. Due to this hinge, the angular rubber expansion joint can only compensate an angular movement.
