The Lohse design is born in the high-demanding paper industry and its design has been altered and improved continuously in time. The several changes throughout the years have optimized the Lohse design, making it extremely resistant to wearing. As a standard, Lohse valves are made out of stainless steel (3.16L) and its high-end internal design includes GRP, PR or PTFE slide cups which minimizes internal space.
The design of the slide cups makes sure that they guide the valve plate thoroughly during motion and minimizes all available space inside the housing. Flushing corners together with the PTFE wedge below the bore of the valve ensure a perfect shut-off of the valve plate and minimize accumulation of media. The compact overall design ensures that the valve can cope with pressure changes very well while maximising operational life by preventing the media from infiltrating in the internal parts, including the sealing and packing sections.
Lohse valves are very easy to maintain and parts are available in a wide variety of materials. All standard designs can be improved and altered specifically to make them more suitable for specific applications and local demands. The above design elements result in a high-end knife gate valve which is capable of dealing with the harshest of demands, and which can be adapted to local needs when required.
Lohse valves are available in various designs all of which are suited to specific applications. They function extremely well in applications which deal with liquids having a high density of solids.

The Lohse CNA is a knife gate valve which is available in the standard size range of DN50 to DN1800. Type CNA offers unidirectional tightness, having a valve plate which is designed to prevent the accumulation of solids inside the valve design. It’s design includes polymer slide cups which minimize friction, thereby minimizing overall valve torque. In general, type CNA can be advised for any application having a solid content below 4.5%.Read more
Lohse gate valve type CDS(V)
The Lohse types CDS and CDSV concern gate valves with through-going valve plates which are available in the standard size range of DN50 to DN1800. Type CDS offers bidirectional tightness, and is designed specifically to minimize all openings / space inside the valve.
It’s design includes polymer slide cups which minimize friction, thereby minimizing overall valve torque. In general, type CDS can be advised for any application having a solid particle content above 4.5%, taking over whenever type CNA gets into trouble.Read more
Gate valve Lohse type CAW
The Lohse gate valve type CAW concerns a gate valve with a straight gate which is available in the standard size range of DN50 to DN1800. Type CAW is included with a straight valve plate and bidirectional sealing areas, resulting in a design which offers bidirectional tightness. It’s design includes polymer slide cups which minimize friction, thereby minimizing overall valve torque. In general, type CAW can be advised for any application which demands bidirectional tightness but lacks the need for a through-going valve plate.Read more

Type GGNA is available with seat material our of EPDM, NBR, Viton, PTFE or metal. It’s plate is out of stainless steel 1.4301.
