The CORE slide bearings generally operate under high loads and slow sliding velocity. Under these conditions there is almost no wear and the lifespan of the bearing is most likely to exceed the lifespan of the supported construction.
Flat PTFE bearings

Cupshaped PTFE bearings
Cup shaped sliding bearings can be supplied in an execution suitable for welding or an execution suitable for bolting. (In case welding is not allowed)
A cup shaped design should be used, in case the sliding surface is not in parallel with the foundation. The sliding pad and the counter plate should always be parallel. The cup shaped container of the sliding pad and the cup shaped base plate allow the sliding plate to align with the counter plate.
Insulated PTFE bearings
In case the temperature of the construction area that should be supported by the PTFE slide bearing exceeds 150°C you should use an insulated slide bearing. The insulated slide bearing has a counter plate that is fully insulated and still can handle the specified load. The PTFE insulated slide bearings are suitable for temperatures up to 600°C.Read more
