AMM761S guillotine valve for flue gas
Product information
The AMM761H guillotine / gate valve is a valve for flue gas up to a maximum operating temperature of 900ºC. Flue gas systems are characterized by low operating pressures so these valves are manufactured from sheet metal as standard and are suitable for operating pressures up to 0.5 bar as standard. This series of flue gas valves is fitted with a standard bonnet and bracket making it unsuitable for insulation. The valve is designed so that the stuffing box gasket pusher and bolts are not subject to temperature in the pipe, allowing the stuffing box gasket to be serviced from the outside at all times (outside operation).
Depending on the design, different leakage rates can be achieved:
- No seat: rate I ANSI/FCI 70-2 (= relative tightness)
- Metal to metal seat: rate II ANSI/FCI 70-2 (leakage = 0.5% x Kvs)
- Soft seat: rate III ANSI/FCI 70-2 (leakage = 0.1% x Kvs)
- Compressed air system: rate VI ANSI/FCI 70-2 (zero leakage)

Application
The guillotine valve for flue gas type AMM761S is often used for air and flue gas with a relatively low temperature where the medium is so contaminated that butterfly valves or (multi) louvre valves are not workable. These valves are fully adaptable to your requirements.
Standard part of the delivery is a general arrangement drawing and a 3D file for approval. After approval of the proposed design, we will start production. This avoids surprises and guarantees that valves can always be fitted appropriately.
