Clambrace: corrosion prevention for pipes
Mounting clamps are designed to avoid welding to, and drilling into, existing steel structures. These clamps typically act as a replacement for the traditional welded lift-off latch, which limits lateral and vertical movement.
The advantage of using mounting clamps is that the integrity of the steel structure is not compromised and the clamps can be easily relocated if needed. Assembly of these clamp systems is very quick and no supply of electricity is required. Using a nut-bolt connection, these pieces are clamped to the steelwork making them ideal for use in EX zones.
The clamps are galvanized as standard. The system can be expanded with sliding surfaces and U-brackets to protect pipes from corrosion.
