PTFE/PFA coated piping components
Hanwel supplies PTFE and PFA-lined piping where steel parts are lined with a thickness of 2.0 to 9.0mm. In addition to steel parts with standard dimensions, we can manufacture customized components. It is also possible to provide existing fittings and piping with a coating based on PTFE, PFA, Halar or ETFE.
Why PTFE- and PFA-coated pipe components? Corrosive and/or aggressive substances are capable of attacking steel and stainless steel piping. To protect piping components from corrosion, they can be provided with a protective liner. PTFE and PFA are excellent materials for this protection. Hanwel supplies complete systems that prevent corrosion.

- Flange bore DIN PN10-40 and ASME 150lbs. / 300lbs.
- Temperature range: -29°C to +200°C
- Pressure range: FV to 31 barg - depending on combination
- Standard dimensions of pipe sections according to DIN 248 or 2874
- Virgin paste extruded PTFE in accordance with ASTM D4895
- Virgin molded PFA ASTM D3307
- Material steelwork: carbon steel P235GH / P265GH, stainless steel or exotic materials
- Available including EN 10204 2.2 and 3.1 certification
- Qualification and testing in accordance with ASTM F1545
- Standard hydrotest at 1.5x nominal pressure
- Electrostatic spark test 25Kv possible on request
