The Habonim Breather Block is designed to protect single-acting pneumatic actuators from contaminated air supply. The breather block isolates the internal parts and chambers of the actuator by allowing only dry and filtered instrument air to enter the spring chamber during actuator spring stroke.
The exhaust port of the Breather Block only allows air to flow out of the spring chamber and prevents outside air from flowing in. This prevents wear of the internal parts due to corrosion. The breather block can be mounted directly on pneumatic actuators via the actuator's NAMUR interface or solenoid valve. The breather block is available in one version applicable to all actuators.
