The Habonim H25 ball valve is ISO 19880, ISO 23826 and TPED certified for 500bar / 8,000 Psi. In addition, the design as a whole is SIL 2 certified and fire safe in accordance with API 607. Thus, the H99 brings specific advantages over conventional designs such as needle valves and solenoids.
When selecting valves for high-pressure hydrogen, a number of aspects are very important. Hydrogen is a small and light molecule which requires a very fine sealing system. Proper materials must be selected to prevent H2 gas embrittlement (HGE). Finally, a high level of purity is required to prevent fuel cell degradation. The H25 series ball valve meets all these requirements.

Application
Om HGE te voorkomen wordt er ten allen tijde gebruik gemaakt van materialen als RVS 316L voor het huis en zorgvuldig geselecteerde materialen voor de spindel. De kleppen worden geassembleerd en getest volgens ISO 16232 om aan de hoogste purity standaarden te voldoen. Ten slotte is de Habonim H25 gecertificeerd conform ISO 15848-1 voor fugitive emissions (500.000 schakelingen) en standaard voorzien van dubbele huisafdichtingen voor maximale integriteit. Elke afsluiter wordt onderheven aan een vacuum helium test (<10-⁶ mg/sec/m) om de dichtheid van de spindelafdichting te garanderen.
