In cooperation with Lohse Armaturenbau GmBH, we supply single-acting pneumatic cylinders (type VMF) for linear valves such as gate valves. The single-acting variant VMF is equipped as standard with a spring package that allows the actuator to send a valve always open or close when the air supply is lost. This ensures a fail-safe function.
As standard, the pneumatics are made of aluminum AlSi5Mg and AlMgSi0.5 with the cylinder rod made of stainless steel 1.4305 and the seals made of NBR. These actuators are manufactured in-house by Lohse so that both the valve and actuator come from the same factory. The pneumatics are equipped with a NAMUR interface in accordance with VDE/VDI 3845.
Single-acting pneumatic cylinders can be used in a very wide range of sizes DN50 to DN600.
