The Type 32 Lisega impact damper works by means of an adjustable free stroke to accommodate thermal displacement. The impact damper can absorb limited displacements in both directions.
When the displacement exceeds the set value, the impact damper functions as a stop. Under extreme loads, the impact damper will deform plastically like a crumple zone, absorbing much of the energy.

Application
The Lisega dynamic supports are used in addition to ordinary pipe supports (hanging or standing) to absorb vibrations and/or shocks such as water hammer. They can also be applied as additional guidance of the pipe.
