Why a Vicoda mass damper? The Vicoda mass damper type TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) is a passive system specifically calculated to solve an existing vibration problem. The TMD follows the vibration of the vibration source and reduces the amplitude (amplitude) of the vibration source by absorbing the energy and natural frequency of the vibration source.
The Vicoda mass damper consists of the following three parts:
- A mass calculated for the situation;
- a spring package calculated to the situation;
- A vibration damper calculated for the situation.

Application
The Vicoda mass damper is used alongside ordinary pipe supports (suspended or standing) to reduce vibrations in pipe systems.
Other applications include securing tall buildings against earthquakes and/or securing wind turbines and bridges against the occurrence of resonance.
