Our Habonim Y47 Series sanitary ball valves are used extensively in food, biotech and pharmaceutical applications. These tube-sized bore ball valves are ideally suited where a sanitary design is required but where the design does not need to fully conform to ASME BPE.
The passage of the valve is exactly the ID of the ISO 1127 or DIN 11850 tubing, preventing contamination and making the system cleanable between production batches.
These ball valves feature the patented Total HermetiX™ spindle seal certified to ISO 15848-1 (500,000 cycles) for fugitive emissions. They come standard with double housing seals and feature USP Class VI compliant polymers and elastomers.

Application
Due to a fire safe design without the use of graphite seals, these ball valves offer the unique combination of food grade approvals ( (USP VI / FDA / EN 1935) and fire safe (API 607) certification. These ball valves are available with ETO extended tube connections or tri-clamp connections. The internal finish is possible in SF1, SF5 and SF4.
