AMM704 butterfly valve for flue gas
Product information
The AMM704 butterfly valve is a valve for flue gases up to a maximum operating temperature of 700ºC. This type is a cost-effective design with a standard cast body for small orifices. The valve is designed so that the stuffing box gasket pusher and bolts are not subject to temperature in the pipe, allowing the stuffing box gasket to be serviced from the outside at all times (outside operation). The cast out is available from cast iron for lower temperatures and stainless steel for higher temperatures.
Depending on the design, different leakage rates can be achieved:
- No seat: rate I ANSI/FCI 70-2 (= relative tightness)
- Metal to metal seat: rate II ANSI/FCI 70-2 (leakage = 0.5% x Kvs)
- Soft seat: rate III ANSI/FCI 70-2 (leakage = 0.1% x Kvs)

Application
The butterfly valve for flue gas type AMM704 is mostly used for flue gases where a smaller passage up to DN300 is required. These valves are fully customizable to your requirements.
Standard part of the delivery is a general arrangement drawing and a 3D file for approval. After approval of the proposed design, we will start production. This avoids surprises and guarantees that valves can always be fitted appropriately.
