AMM705 butterfly damper for flue gas
Product information
The AMM705 butterfly valve is a valve for flue gas up to a maximum operating temperature of 200ºC. Flue gas systems are characterized by low operating pressure so these valves are manufactured from sheet material as standard and are suitable for operating pressures up to 0.5 bar. This series of flue gas valves is equipped with a double disc making it suitable for precise control function. The valve is designed so that the stuffing box gasket pusher and bolts are not subject to the temperature in the pipe, allowing the stuffing box gasket to be serviced from the outside at all times (outside operation).
Depending on the implementation can different leak rates are achieved:
- No seat: rate I ANSI/FCI 70-2 (= relative tightness)
- Metal to metal seat: rate II ANSI/FCI 70-2 (leakage = 0.5% x Kvs)
- Soft seat: rate III ANSI/FCI 70-2 (leakage = 0.1% x Kvs)
- Compressed air system: rate VI ANSI/FCI 70-2 (zero leakage)
