The AMM750H butterfly valve with barrier air system is a valve for flue gas up to a maximum operating temperature of 600ºC. Flue gas systems are characterized by low operating pressures so these valves are manufactured from sheet material as standard and are suitable for operating pressures up to 0.5 bar.  

This series of flue valves is equipped with a double damper blade and a nozzle that allows barrier air to be fed to the damper blades. Using barrier air, a curtain is applied at a pressure higher than the inline pressure so that 100% tightness is achieved. We can supply only the flue gas valve with a nozzle or supply the complete system including fan, compensator, air control valve and intermediate piping.

The valve is designed so that the stuffing box gasket pusher and bolts are not subject to the temperature in the pipe, allowing the stuffing box gasket to be serviced from the outside at all times (outside operation).

Application

The butterfly valve with barrier air system AMM750H is often used for air and flue gas where 100% tightness must be guaranteed and where this is not technically and/or commercially possible by means of a double eccentric valve design. These valves are fully customizable.

Standard part of the delivery is a general arrangement drawing and a 3D file for approval. After approval of the proposed design, we will start production. This avoids surprises and guarantees that valves can always be fitted appropriately.
