Why type AS-5? Type AS-5 is a rubber expansion joint with hot-dip galvanized cast steel threaded connection.
The Stenflex rubber expansion joint type AS-5 is an axial expansion joint without limitation and is universally applicable. The expansion joint can be fitted with an external threaded coupling, a union nut with internal thread or a combination of these.

- Rubber grade: EPDM or NBR
- Range: DN 32 to DN 40
- Temperature: up to 130°C
- Pressure stage: PN 16
Application
The Stenflex rubber expansion joint type AS-5 is mainly used for smaller pipes (DN 32 to DN 40) in utility construction, such as in central heating systems and fire-extinguishing pipes.
