Habonim 2-piece flanged cryogenic ball valves Series C78 with ISO 5211 top flange feature an upstream relief hole to prevent pressure buildup in the ball.
The minimal fluid layer between bonnet and spindle ensures a leak-free spindle seal. All Habonim cryogenic ball valves feature the patented Total HermetiX™ spindle seal (certified for 500,000 cycles ISO 15848-1) and come standard with double body seals for maximum integrity. The use of short housing bolts minimizes thermal expansion and prevents leakage at the housing seals.

Application
The Habonim C78 Series is a cryogenic dual flanged floating ball valve suitable for low temperature applications. It has a No-Trap cavity to prevent pressure build-up and offers efficient heat transfer. The valve has a robust design, with a solid, durable pilot mechanism, and is suitable for both single and bi-directional pressure service. It is commonly used in LNG applications and meets relevant standards for safety and performance.
