The fugitive emission /FE bonnet is an extended spindle equipped with a leak chamber and detection to capture any leaks through the valve spindle seal. This accessory forms an additional seal, thus providing maximum integrity and safety within systems. The FE bonnet is commonly used for hazardous and/or toxic media for which any possibility of leakage must be excluded. This system is mounted directly on the valve by means of the ISO 5211 top flange.

Application
The FE bonnet can be expanded with a purge connection, a media containment unit (MCU), an extended bonnet (XXT) or a pressure box sealing where a pressure chamber is formed between the valve stem seal and the top seal of the FE bonnet. Thus, these accessories can be fully customized to the specific needs and requirements of the application.
