The handwheel actuator with non-rising spindle (type Hns) is a handwheel in which the spindle does not rise or fall with the movement of the valve. This is the standard design for manually operated gate valves from Lohse. These handwheels can be applied to other linear valves with modification.
The handwheel is standard made of AlSi5Mg aluminum and is also available in stainless steel 1.4301. The spindle is standard made of stainless steel 1.4301.
The use of a handwheel is generally recommended for gate valves with sizes from DN50 to DN300.
