The Lohse plate valve type CBS is a stainless steel gate valve with knife edge gate that is equipped with a control plate in the upstream orifice. The control plate can be fitted with a triangle or pentagon to achieve the optimum control range. The compact design features plastic inner shells that minimize internal spaces and the required tightening torque. The CBS can be equipped with various drive systems and can be customized to specific conditions.
All Lohse valves use the modular Lohse actuator system where a choice can be made between manual actuators (handwheel, handwheel with rising spindle, T-wrench, chain) and non-manual actuators (electric and pneumatic).

Application
Because of its design, this valve can be used anywhere the medium contains solid particles. These include pulp and paper applications, sewage and water treatment processes and applications where the medium contains fibers, potatoes, cement, gypsum, dust and other solids.
