Type CAW

The Lohse gate valve type CAW is a stainless steel gate valve with a straight gate that is equipped with a sealing surface on both sides, thus achieving a two-sided tightness. The compact design features plastic inner shells that minimize internal spaces and the required tightening torque.
All Lohse valves use the modular Lohse actuator system where a choice can be made between manual actuators (handwheel, handwheel with rising spindle, T-wrench, chain) and non-manual actuators (electric and pneumatic).

Application
The Lohse gate valve type CAW Is particularly suitable for applications in which bidirectional tightness is required and the medium contains few solids. Therefore, this valve is often recommended for applications within water treatment. The type CAW is recommended when bi-directional tightness is required, but the viscosity does not require a continuous slide.
The CAW can be equipped with various drive systems and can be adapted to specific conditions.
