Lohse type CDS and type CDSV are stainless steel gate valves with a continuous slide, which minimize dead spaces in the open position and achieve two-sided tightness. The slide is designed to prevent deposition and accumulation of solid particles. The compact design features plastic inner shells that minimize internal spaces and the required tightening torque.
All Lohse valves use the modular Lohse actuator system where a choice can be made between manual actuators (handwheel, handwheel with rising spindle, T-wrench, chain) and non-manual actuators (electric and pneumatic).

Application
The Lohse through valve type CDS can be used anywhere the medium contains solids. These include pulp and paper applications, sewage and water treatment processes and applications where the medium contains fibers, potatoes, cement, gypsum, dust and other solids.
The CDS can be equipped with various drive systems and can be adapted to specific conditions. The through-slide design makes this type bidrectionally dense and suitable for media with a viscosity content above 4.5%.
