Conical ring with storm ribs
Product information
The conical ring with storm ribs can be laid loose on the inlet side of the valve before mounting the valve between the counter flanges.
The ring reduces the inlet of the valve relative to the outlet. This directs the medium to the center of the passage and prevents solids from remaining in the dead spaces of the valve. In addition, the ring is equipped with ribs that break up any eddies in the medium. Because the vortices are (partially) broken off, wear and tear on the plate, bore rings and internal parts is significantly reduced. Finally, the ring protects the bores of the valve which, as long as the ring is mounted, are completely free of wear. Thus, the conical ring becomes a wear part that can be exchanged preventively when needed.
