Core counter bearings

With a PTFE plain bearing, a counter bearing must always be used. There are a number of requirements for this:
• De ruwheid is Rz < 1 μm en Ra < 0,2 μm.
- The counter plate is flat.
- The counter plate and the structure to be supported is sufficiently rigid and must not deflect.
- The counter plate completely covers the PTFE at all times.

Application
We can supply counter plates or counter bearings in a number of designs. Special sizes and base materials are available upon request.
- A loose stainless steel plate 2 or 3 mm thick that needs to be welded on somewhere.
- A pipe shoe fitted with a stainless steel underside.
- A counter bearing consisting of a steel plate and a stainless steel plate. (The standard counter bearings)
- An insulated counter bearing with a temperature gradient from 300°C or 600°C on the upper side of the counter bearing to up to 150°C on the stainless steel lower side of the counter bearing.
