The Core PTFE plain bearing type BBC is a square PTFE plain bearing for larger loads. In the PTFE plain bearing type BBC, the PTFE element lies in a bowl-shaped holder that lies in a bowl-shaped base plate. In this way, the bearing can tilt allowing slight bending of the upper structure.
The bearing is equipped with flanges and must therefore be bolted to the supporting structure. The PTFE bearing type BBC comes standard with a matching counter bearing with bolt holes. The PTFE bearing type BBC can accommodate displacements in two directions. The standard displacement accommodation capacity is: 20 mm, 40 mm or 80 mm. This bearing is also available with a guide. This is the type BBC-G. The type BBC-G is guided on one side and thus can only accommodate displacement in one direction.

The type BBC is a bowl-shaped bearing that allows the upper structure to tilt or bend. Special dimensions and basic materials are possible. However, the standard is the most economical version.
