The Core PTFE plain bearing type BBC-G is a square PTFE plain bearing with flanges for larger loads. In the PTFE plain bearing type WBC, the PTFE element lies in a bowl-shaped holder. In this way, the plain bearing can tilt, allowing slight bending of the superstructure. The bearing must be bolted to the supporting structure and is supplied including a matching counter bearing with bolt holes.
The PTFE plain bearing type BBC-G is the guided version of the type BBC and can only take up displacement in one direction due to the guidance. The standard motion absorption capacity is plus-minus 20 mm, 40 mm or 80 mm. Special dimensions and base materials are possible on request.

Application
Applications for Core PTFE plain bearings include high temperature boilers, reactors and long pipeline runs. In addition, there are applications where heavy construction is slowly shifted such as the soccer field at the Gelredome, the retracting of bridges and the launching of ships.
