The Stenflex rubber expansion joint type RS-3 is a flameproof rubber expansion joint with steel cord inlays, rotatable flanges, a hinge tension and an installation length of 130 mm. Various flange bores are possible.
Because of the hinge, the pressure reaction force in a system is absorbed and the expansion joint can only absorb an angular rotation.

Application
The Stenflex rubber expansion joint type RS-3 is an R expansion joint with steel cord inlays. Because of these inlays, the RS expansion joint can be used up to 130°C and meets stringent flameproof requirements.
The RS expansion joint is suitable for application in central heating systems and has the TÜV/DIN 4809 approval. Due to the flameproof properties, these expansion joints can also be used in fire-fighting pipes.
