Product information
The Core PTFE plain bearing type WBC is a square PTFE plain bearing for larger loads. In the PTFE plain bearing type WBC, the PTFE element lies in a bowl-shaped holder. In this way, the slide bearing can tilt, allowing slight bending of the superstructure. The bearing must be welded to the supporting structure and is supplied with a matching counter bearing.
The PTFE plain bearing type WBC can accommodate displacements in two directions. The standard motion absorption capacity is plus-minus 20 mm, 40 mm or 80 mm. Special dimensions and base materials are available upon request.

Application
Applications for Core PTFE plain bearings include high temperature boilers, reactors and long pipeline runs. In addition, there are applications where heavy construction is slowly shifted such as the soccer field at the Gelredome, the retracting of bridges and the launching of ships.
