The Core PTFE bearing type WBI is a square PTFE bearing for higher temperatures and can be supplied with a counter bearing suitable for a temperature of 300°C or 600°C. The bearing must be welded to the supporting structure and is supplied with a matching counter bearing.
The PTFE plain bearing type WBI can accommodate displacements in two directions. The standard motion absorption capacity is plus-minus 25 mm or 50 mm. Special dimensions and base materials are available upon request.

Application
Applications for Core PTFE plain bearings include high temperature boilers, reactors and long pipeline runs. In addition, there are applications where heavy construction is slowly shifted such as the soccer field at the Gelredome, the retracting of bridges and the launching of ships.
