Product information

Habonim ball valves Z28W with a hybrid or metal seal for applications with relatively low temperatures (up to 260⁰C) are commonly used if the medium is abrasive. The metal seal is better suited to the medium than a standard seat and provides a longer stand time.

Each ball and seat assembly is precisely machined, ground and then fitted for a perfect match. The other design features of the ball valve remain relatively standard. This particular series is suitable for high pressure (class 2500).

Application

Habonim Z28W ball valves are designed for applications with temperatures up to 260°C and pressure classes up to 2500 (414 bar). These valves are especially suitable for the oil and gas industry, power plants, and chemical processes where high pressure and temperature are required.

The valves feature a hybrid seat, which ensures a bubble tight seal, and offer low operating forces through the use of advanced materials such as stainless steel and special coatings (chromium carbide, tungsten carbide). They are tested for explosion resistance and meet stringent standards for safety and reliability.
