Habonim ball valves Z73W with a hybrid or metal seal for applications with relatively low temperatures (up to 260⁰C) are commonly used if the medium is abrasive. The metal seal is better suited to the medium than a standard seat and provides a longer stand time.
Each ball and seat assembly is precisely machined, ground and then fitted for a perfect match. The other design features of the ball valve remain relatively standard.

Application
Habonim ball valves Z73W are designed for use in demanding industrial applications with temperatures up to 260°C and a pressure rating of 150. They are often used in the chemical, petrochemical and energy industries, where high pressure and temperature are combined with abrasive media.
These valves have rugged construction and feature advanced coatings such as chromium carbide and tungsten carbide, providing durability and corrosion resistance. They offer leak-tight operation through the use of an Inconel 718 Belleville spring for constant preloading of the ball and seat.
