Product information

Habonim metal seated ball valves up to 400°C flanged Z73P are ball valves with a hybrid or metal seal for demanding high temperature applications. Each ball and seat assembly is precision machined, ground and then fitted for a perfect match.

For the range up to 400⁰C, both the ball and seat are treated with LPTN (Low Temperature Plasma carbo-Nitriding). LPTN is a cost-saving hardening system for austenitic stainless steels, providing a minimum thickness of 40 microns and more than three times (> 68HRC) the natural hardness of the base material. Thus, the ball valve can be used for applications up to 400°C and in sizes up to 8''.

Application

The Habonim Z73P ball valves are designed for applications with high temperatures up to 400°C and a pressure rating of 150. These ball valves are used in heavy industrial processes where extreme temperatures and abrasive media are involved, such as in chemical plants, petrochemical plants and power plants.

Thanks to their robust construction and special coatings, such as chrome and tungsten carbide, they are resistant to wear and corrosion, ensuring long life and reliable performance in demanding environments.
