The Stenflex rubber expansion joint type A-3 is a standard rubber expansion joint with rotatable flanges and hinge tensioning. Various flange bores are possible here. Due to the hinge, the pressure reaction force in a system is absorbed and the expansion joint can only absorb an angular rotation.

Application
The Stenflex rubber expansion joint type A-3 is generally applicable and are often used in a set of two for accommodating large lateral displacements.
