The handwheel actuator with nonrising spindle (type Hns) is a handwheel in which the spindle rises or falls with the movement of the valve. Thus, the extent to which the valve is opened or closed can be clearly observed from a distance. With modification, these handwheels can be applied to other linear valves.
The handwheel is standard made of AlSi5Mg aluminum and is also available in stainless steel 1.4301. The spindle is standard made of stainless steel 1.4301.
The use of a handwheel is generally recommended for gate valves with sizes from DN50 to DN300.
