Habonim metal seated ball valves up to 400°C flanged Z74P are ball valves with a hybrid or metal seal for demanding high temperature applications. Each ball and seat assembly is precision machined, ground and then fitted for a perfect match.
For the range up to 400⁰C, both the ball and seat are treated with LPTN (Low Temperature Plasma carbo-Nitriding). LPTN is a cost-saving hardening system for austenitic stainless steels, providing a minimum thickness of 40 microns and more than three times (> 68HRC) the natural hardness of the base material. Thus, the ball valve can be used for applications up to 400°C and in sizes up to 8''.

Application
Habonim Z74P ball valves are used especially in industries where high temperatures and pressures are involved, such as power plants, oil and gas plants, chemical plants and the metal industry.
They are used in steam systems, heat transfer processes and aggressive chemical environments. Thanks to their robust materials and special coatings, they are resistant to corrosion and wear, making them suitable for long-term use in extreme conditions.
