The Stenflex rubber expansion joints type B-2 (or type B-4) are rubber expansion joints with high wave, rotatable flanges and tie rods. Various flange bores are possible here. These versions are for large movement absorption.
Thanks to the tie rods, the pressure reaction force is absorbed in a system. The tie rods are integrated up to DN 150. From DN 175 with short installation length and threaded holes and loose segment tension.
Type B-2 and type B-4 :
- In the type B-2, the tie rods are bounded only on the outside, preventing the expansion joint from extending.
- In type B-4, the tie rods are bounded both on the outside and on the inside, preventing the expansion joint from lengthening and compression. As in vacuum.

Application
Stenflex rubber expansion joints type B-2 or type B-4 are used for large lateral displacements or when a short installation length is required.
