The Stenflex rubber expansion joint type C-231 is a two-wave rubber expansion joint with all-rubber flanges and tie rods, available in large diameters for large displacements. Various flange bores are possible here. Thanks to the tie rods, the pressure reaction force in a system is absorbed. As standard, the tie rods are limited only on the outside, which prevents the expansion joint from extending.
The Stenflex rubber expansion joint type C-231 is available in three different pressure stages, the installation length can be customized. Optionally, the tie rods can be limited both on the outside, and on the inside. In this way, the expansion joint cannot extend and cannot be compressed (e.g. in vacuum).

Application
Type C-231 is generally applicable and well suited for accommodating large soil subsidence or large lateral pipe displacements.
